First Time Visit
What to expect:
- Sign in at the front desk.
- Paperwork
- We will ask you to fill out forms to help us get to know you better. These forms maybe downloaded at our Forms Page and completed prior to your arrival.
- Consultation
- Our staff will go over your health history with you and gather all pertinent information for the doctor.
- Chiropractic Examination
- A comprehensive exam will include an examination by the doctor and a computerized health analysis. The Myovision scan will identify areas in your spine that may have nerve pressure and muscle tension.
- X-Rays
- Maybe helpful in determining your course of care. Your doctor will discuss with you whether or not x-rays are needed.
X-ray exposure is minimized:
- Discussion
- The doctor will discuss with you the results of the examination and the type of adjustment(s) and care that will be provided to you.
- Specific Spinal Adjustment
- If your examination findings indicate the necessity for an adjustment, the doctors will perform a very specific adjustment using their hands.
- Home Instructions
- Following your adjustment, the doctor may give you specific home instructions to follow which will aid the adjustment in allowing your body to start healing. Instructions may include icing instructions or specific neck and back exercises.
